- Water Resources Specialist
Description
Little Thompson Water District is seeking a Water Resources Specialist. This Water Resources Specialist provides technical information; evaluates native water shares, non-potable systems, and new water supplies; explains raw water requirements to developers and the public; works with water resource staff, legal counsel and consultants to assist in preparation of Water Court applications and defense of the District’s existing water rights; creates and analyzes models for long range water supply planning; and performs water conservation tasks such as developing programs and measuring water conservation. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, water resources, or closely related field required with three or more years of experience in a related field. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may substitute for education. A valid Colorado driver’s license and satisfactory driving record to drive District vehicles is also required. Requirements
