Job Summary:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you'll play an important role in delivering a positive, efficient, and compassionate patient experience. Working closely with our licensed Advanced Practice Clinicians and the broader care team, you'll help patients feel informed, supported, and well cared for throughout their visit.
This is a hands-on role for an LPN who enjoys combining clinical skills, patient education, teamwork, and exceptional customer service. You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients while helping the clinic run smoothly and ensuring every patient receives safe, individualized care.

Your Day to Day
Deliver exceptional patient care
- Welcome and assist patients throughout their visit, helping create a professional, comfortable experience.
- Bring patients from the waiting area to exam rooms efficiently and communicate proactively about any delays.
- Prepare patients for examinations and collect relevant health information and screening data.
- Provide age-appropriate and culturally sensitive care.
- Identify patient and family needs and take initiative to provide assistance.
Partner with providers and the care team
- Work closely with licensed providers to support efficient clinic flow and high-quality patient care.
- Assist with routine office procedures and diagnostic testing, including spirometry.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens according to established protocols.
- Communicate patient needs and important clinical information accurately through the electronic health record (EHR).
- Maintain accurate patient charts, documentation, and diagnostic testing requisitions.
Support patient education
- Help patients and families understand their care and treatment.
- Provide educational materials as directed by providers.
- Use available resources to support patient learning, including hands-on education such as nebulizer training.
Keep the clinic running at its best
- Maintain clean, organized, well-stocked exam rooms and equipment.
- Monitor supplies and communicate inventory needs to the appropriate team members.
- Coordinate patient flow to help the clinic operate efficiently.
- Use technology and the EHR effectively to support the patient and care team.
Perform laboratory responsibilities
- Process and analyze patient specimens using established laboratory and safety protocols.
- Perform required quality-control procedures and evaluate results for accuracy and validity.
- Operate laboratory instruments and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Complete testing within established timeframes.
- Maintain required laboratory records and documentation.
- Perform routine and periodic equipment maintenance and function checks.
- Identify equipment issues, document malfunctions, and take appropriate corrective action or notify a supervisor.
- Maintain appropriate inventory practices, including documenting receipt, opening, and expiration of supplies and reagents.
