Troon - The Clubs at St. James, located in Southport, NC, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time, Concierge! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Schedule:

Part-Time - Saturday & Sunday

Responsibilities:

• Provides assistance to guests and serves as an information source during their stay.
• Promotes the resort's facilities and area attractions.
• Serves as a local information source for guests.
• Provides information about special events within the resort and the surrounding area.
• Answers all incoming calls to the guest service desk.
• Assists guests with various services such as: making dining reservations, ordering flowers, wine, or gift baskets, and providing directions.
• Assists guests with questions and concerns.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education/ Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

• Frequently sits, talks, and hears. Occasionally stands and walks. Regularly uses hands, reaches with arms and hands. Occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds.

Environment/Noise:

• Noise level is moderate.

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g., the associates may be required to communicate with English-speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
