Description
Shape how a global markets team keeps trading activity accurate, controlled, and resilient. In this role, your work will directly reduce risk by ensuring breaks are identified, escalated, and resolved quickly. We have an opportunity to impact your career and provide an adventure where you can push the limits of what's possible.As a Trade Lifecycle Analyst in Clearing and Reconciliations Operations, you ensure our over-the-counter trade and position reconciliations are completed accurately and on time. You will investigate breaks, drive timely resolution, and escalate risks appropriately. You will also help us improve processes, documentation, and controls to deliver a strong client and stakeholder experience.
Job responsibilities
- Drive the development and ongoing execution of the over-the-counter reconciliations offering
- Maintain accurate trade and position records across the exchange and the internal clearing system
- Investigate trade and position breaks and resolve or coordinate resolution by the next business day
- Escalate material breaks, trends, and risks using established governance and communication channels
- Review end-to-end processes regularly and recommend efficiencies and control enhancements
- Document procedures and keep them current, clear, and accessible for the team
- Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver timely outcomes and a high-quality service experience
- Prioritize daily workload to meet internal and external deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Handle ad hoc requests appropriately, ensuring accuracy and follow-through
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- At least 3 years of experience in derivatives operations, clearing, reconciliations, or post-trade support
- Demonstrated ability to learn new processes quickly while maintaining accuracy and sound judgment
- Strong client and service mindset, with a focus on responsiveness and quality
- Ability to work under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines with consistent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including clear escalation and status updates
- Proven time management skills, with the ability to organize and prioritize effectively
- Solid computer skills, including comfort working across multiple systems and datasets
- Intellectual curiosity and a track record of identifying and driving process improvements
- Flexibility to support business needs, including occasional changes in working hours
- Basic knowledge of automation tools, such as Alteryx or Visual Basic for Applications
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Over-the-counter product knowledge, including interest rate swaps and credit default swaps
- Futures and options knowledge, including market and product familiarity
- Exposure to North American and European markets within a post-trade or operations context
