Description
The Trade and Working Capital Client Service Group manages and facilitates the unique and complex service needs of a global client base. As the LATAM Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team that delivers exceptional service, manages client onboarding and ongoing service requests, and acts as a strategic advisor for complex trade transactions. You will collaborate closely with Relationship Management, Operations, Treasury Management, Sales, and Implementations teams to ensure seamless client experiences and drive business growth.Core Functional Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of client service account managers supporting global trade clients
- Serve as the primary escalation point for client onboarding, transactions, and ongoing service requests in the region
- Act as a trade advisor for Letters of Credit, Supply Chain Finance, and other trade finance transactions
- Oversee transaction service queues, resolve escalated client inquiries, and ensure timely follow-up
- Liaise between Relationship, Operations, Treasury Management, Sales, and Implementations teams
- Prioritize team workload to maximize productivity and client satisfaction
- Project a confident and professional presence to clients, colleagues, and senior stakeholders
- Collaborate with technology teams to define business requirements, test new solutions, and drive adoption of innovative tools within service and implementations functions
- Research and resolve complex customer inquiries, prepare documentation, maintain procedures, and manage internal projects
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Trade Finance, Letters of Credit, or related fields
- Understanding of emerging technologies in trade finance, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, and their application to operational efficiency and client experience
- Proven leadership experience managing teams in a service or implementations environment
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong focus on client satisfaction and relationship building
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Spanish, and Portuguese
- Ability to work independently, resolve complex issues, and manage competing priorities
- Demonstrated professional presence and adaptability
