Responsibilities
We are seeking a Subpoena Compliance Specialist to support our in‑house Legal team with the intake, tracking, and coordination of subpoenas and other third‑party legal requests. This role operates in a high‑volume environment (approximately 1,000 subpoenas annually) and requires strong judgment, attention to detail, organization, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
This position is fully remote and open to candidates nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the intake, tracking, and administration of subpoenas and other legal information requests.
- Review incoming requests for completeness, deadlines, jurisdiction, and scope, escalating issues to attorneys as appropriate.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to identify, collect, and preserve responsive records and information.
- Monitor response deadlines and maintain accurate documentation of requests, communications, productions, and final disposition.
- Communicate professionally with external parties regarding receipt, status, and response timelines.
- Maintain reporting and metrics using subpoena management systems and Excel to track volume, trends, and response performance.
- Support continuous improvement of subpoena response processes while ensuring compliance with applicable laws, company policies, and confidentiality requirements.

- 2+ years of experience in legal, compliance, investigations, operations, or administrative support roles.
- Experience working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and written communication abilities.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, manage sensitive information, and escalate issues appropriately.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams.
- Interest in supporting legal operations and compliance functions at scale.

The expected base pay for this position ranges from $28.50 - $37.50 hourly, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
