We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented SR. Pricing Manager to lead our pricing strategies and analytics initiatives. This pivotal role involves developing data-driven pricing models, optimizing revenue management, and supporting demand planning efforts across our product lines. This is a new role, you will build this position. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced data analytics tools and market research to ensure competitive yet profitable pricing structures that align with business objectives.
Duties:
Pricing Strategy & Management
- Develop and execute pricing strategies for the company's aluminum wheel and MOMO product lines
- Establish pricing models that balance profitability, market share, and competitive positioning
- Evaluate and recommend pricing adjustments based on market conditions, material costs, freight expenses, tariffs, and competitive activity.
- Lead annual and periodic pricing reviews across all product categories.
- Develop pricing guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and profitability.
Market & Competitive Analysis
- Monitor industry trends, competitor pricing, market conditions, and customer buying behaviors.
- Conduct competitive analyses of wheel brands, product offerings, and pricing structures.
- Identify opportunities for market expansion, margin improvement, and strategic pricing initiatives.
- Analyze economic factors that may impact pricing decisions, including aluminum costs, transportation expenses, and foreign exchange fluctuations.
Financial & Profitability Analysis
- Analyze product-level, customer-level, and channel-level profitability.
- Evaluate gross margin performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop pricing recommendations based on cost structures, sales trends, and financial objectives.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.Prepare financial models and business cases to support pricing decision
Product Lifecycle Pricing
- Support new product introductions through pricing analysis and recommendations.
- Evaluate product positioning and pricing throughout the product lifecycle.
- Assist Product Development and Marketing teams in determining market-based pricing for new wheel designs and product launches.
- Recommend pricing actions for product transitions, discontinuations, and inventory reduction initiatives.
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and maintain pricing dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
- Track pricing effectiveness and measure the impact of pricing changes on revenue and profitability.
- Present pricing recommendations and business analyses to executive leadership.
- Utilize data analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
Customer & Sales Support
- Partner with Sales leadership to establish customer pricing programs and discount structures.
- Review and approve pricing requests, promotions, rebates, and special pricing agreements.
- Assist with contract negotiations involving pricing terms and profitability considerations.
- Provide analytical support for key accounts and strategic customer relationships.
- Ensure pricing strategies support customer retention and growth objectives.
Requirements
Minimum:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Marketing, or related field required.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive retail pricing, finance, business analytics, product management, or revenue management experience.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of management or leadership experience preferred.
- Manufacturing experience required.
- Automotive aftermarket, automotive parts, wheel industry, or consumer durable goods experience.
- High level Microsoft skills
- ERP experience (Plex is a +)
