About the role

Therapies for Kids is seeking a motivated and experienced Paediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our transdisciplinary team in Lilyfield, NSW. Join our team of speech pathologists, occupational therapists and physiotherapists, where you will play a pivotal role, delivering high-quality services to children and their families.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify children's needs
• Developing and implementing individualised therapy plans to address speech, language, and communication difficulties
• Providing therapy sessions tailored to each child's unique needs and goals
• Collaborating with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to the child's care
• Maintaining detailed clinical records and providing progress updates to families and referring professionals
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to the ongoing development of the speech therapy program

Requirements

What we're looking for

• A degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Minimum of one year experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a paediatric setting
• Strong clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders in children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and their families
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Full registration with Speech Pathology Australia is required.
• Full Australian working rights required
