Description

Our client, a tier-1 global financial institution with a dominant market share across the globe, is looking for a Senior Treasury Manager to lead their Finance Operations hub in Hong Kong. As a Senior Treasury Manager , you will be the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) tasked with transforming traditional treasury operations into a data-driven, automated, real-time ecosystem while partnering closely with local, regional, and global-level executive stakeholders.

As a Senior Treasury Manager, What You'll Drive

1. The Modernization Roadmap: Act as the strategic lead for Treasury Transformation, scoping out automation, upgrading core treasury systems, and driving digital tools to unlock real-time liquidity analytics.
2. Liquidity & Risk Strategy: Own the end-to-end liquidity forecasting and cash management strategy.
3. Operational Excellence: Oversee daily cash management, banking structures, interbank arrangements, and cash pooling to ensure the business is perfectly optimized.
4. Team Leadership: Act as an all-rounded leader, coaching an established treasury operations team and translating complex data into sharp, actionable insights for the C-suite.

What We Are Looking For as a Senior Treasury Manager

1. The Credentials: University graduate in Finance, Accounting, or Economics with a recognized professional qualification (HKICPA, CFA, or equivalent).
2. The Experience: Minimum 6 years of Corporate Treasury experience, with at least 3 years in a treasury project/supervisory/team leadership capacity.
3. Industry Context: Background within Financial Services is highly advantageous.
4. The Transformation Mindset: A proven track record of participating in or leading Treasury system implementations, automation projects, or process re-engineering.
