As the Senior Workforce Clinical Advisor in Rockhampton, you will be the go-to expert driving ergonomic and manual handling excellence across Workplace Health and Safety for Central Queensland Health. You’ll lead the charge in delivering smart, evidence-based solutions, shaping best-practice policies, and rolling out engaging training that builds capability across the workforce.
From mentoring staff and students to advising leaders on injury prevention and return-to-work strategies, you’ll be right at the centre of safer workplaces. With a focus on innovation, continuous improvement, and strategic impact, this role blends hands-on expertise with big-picture thinking, all while championing safety and professional growth.

About you:
- You’re a qualified Occupational Therapist with the qualification and AHPRA registration to support.
- You’re able to contribute to improving safety and wellbeing through the application of specialist clinical knowledge and skills in Occupational Therapy.
- You lead change through the initiation, implementation and evaluation of quality service improvement activities with the specific aim of preventing injury and enhancing staff health and wellness.

Salary information:
- Total remuneration value of up to $157,359 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $128,169 - $137,918 p.a.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
- + a large list of government benefits
