Senior Finance and Data Manager

Location: Dumbo, Brooklyn

Job Type: Onsite

Salary: $125-150k+/year

Our client is a fast-growing, early-stage data and analytics company. They're looking to bring on a highly analytical professional who enjoys working with complex datasets and driving clarity.

This role gives the opportunity to work directly with clients on high-impact projects, have full ownership, work closely with senior leadership (including CEO, VP, and PE firms), and be part of a fast-growing firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support hands-on client work focused on improving data quality, accuracy, and usability.
• Analyze and organize large volumes of data to uncover insights and ensure reliability
• Tie operational data back to financial outputs and reporting frameworks
• Assist in building repeatable reporting structures and scalable data solutions
• Identify inconsistencies and inefficiencies in data flows and recommend improvements
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
• Contribute to the development of internal best practices and standard operating approaches

Key Qualifications:

• 5+ YOE in transaction services, M&A, PE, FP&A, accounting, due diligence, consulting, or similar analytical roles
• Hands-on experience working with complex, large, imperfect datasets and bringing structure
• Curiosity about data tools (exposure to SQL, cloud tools, or data warehouses)
• An interest in how data systems work - coding experience not required
• Ability to take ownership of problems from start to finish, and comfortable in start-up environments
• A builder's mindset - someone excited by helping shape processes, tools, and building things from the ground up
