Position Title: Senior Analyst Fund Accounting
Role Description:
Evaluates and reconciles funds including mutual, commingled, and collective for production of client month-end reports or for daily valuation. Verifies transactions, audits income reports within scheduled timeframes and resolves exceptions on a daily basis for fund accounts.
Core Skills & Competencies Required:
- Working knowledge of financial / capital markets (e.g., Good understanding of financial instruments, operation of capital markets, lifecycle of trade, valuations etc.)
- Good understanding and ability to articulate current role / functional process
- Demonstrate through examples /evidence excellent written and verbal language skills, collaboration, analytical acumen, raising your hand, sense of urgency, escalation channels/process and attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Sustainable performance demonstrated through examples/evidence, the above listed core skills and competencies in the current role over a period of at least 18 months
- Partner should be flexible to work in any of the three locations (Manyata, GVT & Pune).
- Deliver high quality service to customers by accurate, timely completion of all assigned tasks (which may be parts of larger processes) and requests for information.
- Complete NAVs valuations accurately and within defined timeframes
- Perform tasks under supervision of defined processes or procedures and check for errors. Ensure procedures in relation to above tasks are adhered to.
- Collect, enter and extract data and undertake analysis as directed. Assist in the preparation of client reports e.g. taxation, equalisation, funds under custody/admin. Resolve queries.
- Identify and 'own' problems, correct them as far as is possible and refer as/if appropriate. Reconcile Queries in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Seek to learn quickly and continually improve service offered.
- Assist other colleagues as appropriate. Act as effective team member within the unit and with other units by imparting knowledge as appropriate.
- Should have completed 1 year as Analyst II
- Lateral application - should have completed 1 year in the current role.
