Description

Provide Resident Care, documentation, and regulatory and quality requirements to ensure safety and security of residents.

Requirements

• Provides assistance with ADLs and psychosocial support to residents in accordance with the resident’s ISP.
• Administers medications as ordered by a physician in accordance with facility policy and procedures.
• Provides recreational and social activities for the residents as directed by the Life Enrichment Coordinator.
• Supervises or provides assistance to residents at mealtime.
• Feeds residents as needed. 
• Interacts with residents and families in a calm, supportive, customer service oriented fashion.
• Notifies the Nurse of any changes noted in the resident’s condition
• Consistently implement policies, practices and procedures to assure safety and security of residents, visitors and co-workers.
• Documents in the resident’s records in accordance with policy and procedure
• Provides laundry services to residents as specified in the ISP.
• Assists with housekeeping and sanitation activities as needed.
• Participates in ongoing in-service education
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality record and able to work consistently through out the shift.
