Product Assurance and Supply Quality Manager (m/f/d)
As a Product Assurance & Supply Quality Manager, you will become part of an interdisciplinary team delivering innovative space projects. You will play a key role in ensuring the highest quality standards throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with engineering, suppliers, customers, and international project teams to contribute to the success of future space missions.
Your Tasks
- Drive the implementation and compliance of Product Assurance and Supply Quality requirements within your area of responsibility
- Coordinate Product Assurance and Supply Quality activities throughout the complete project lifecycle
- Lead quality reviews and project milestones, including preparation, moderation, documentation, and follow-up of resulting actions
- Manage non-conformance processes and chair the corresponding review and decision boards to ensure timely resolution
- Coordinate quality-related activities across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and project management while ensuring a transparent flow of information
- Act as a trusted interface for quality topics towards internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers
- Support supplier quality activities, including qualification, performance monitoring, and resolution of quality-related issues throughout the supply chain
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, process efficiency, and project execution
- Provide regular reporting to the Lead Product Assurance Manager and the Product Assurance Department
Your Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Physics, Natural Sciences, or a comparable technical qualification
- Experience in Product Assurance, Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Project Quality within the space, aerospace, defense, automotive, semiconductor, or another highly regulated industry
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence in moderating technical discussions and driving decisions
- Analytical mindset with a genuine interest in solving complex technical and quality-related challenges
- Ability to make well-founded decisions, take ownership, and represent them confidently towards customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
- Structured working style with the ability to balance detailed analysis and overall project objectives
- Business fluent in English; German language skills are considered an advantage
- Willingness to travel regularly and enjoy working in an international project environment
