Esplanade Lakewood Ranch is proud to feature a dynamic and growing pizza program, built around our proprietary dough and house-made sauces, and we are seeking a passionate Pizza Chef to join our team. This role will primarily focus on pizza production on the line, while also supporting banquet and event prep a few hours each week to maintain a full-time schedule.

The position reports directly to our Executive Chef and offers the opportunity to be part of a collaborative, high-performing culinary team.

This position is responsible for preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced environment while maintaining consistency, cleanliness, and adherence to all food safety standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, communicates effectively with team members, and demonstrates a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.

A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential to success in this role.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:
Frequently stands, uses hands, talks, hears, tastes and smells. Regularly walks and reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. Regularly lifts up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 100 pounds.

Environment/Noise:
Regularly works in extreme heat (non-weather) and near moving mechanical parts. Occasionally works in extreme cold (non-weather), wet or humid conditions (non-weather), near toxic or caustic chemicals, and in outdoor weather. Noise level is moderate.

Certificates/Licenses:
Food Safety and Sanitation Training
