Description
Are you a Physiotherapist who enjoys getting to know your patients, treating hands-on, and seeing their rehabilitation through from assessment to return to work, sport and everyday life?
The Junction Village Physiotherapy is looking for an experienced and personable Physiotherapist to join our established private practice in The Junction, Newcastle.
We are looking for someone with at least 1–2 years of private practice experience who is thorough in their assessment and treatment, enjoys musculoskeletal physiotherapy and has a genuine interest in Clinical Pilates and exercise-based rehabilitation.
About You.
You will step into an established clinic with an existing client base and a varied caseload, with a strong focus on musculoskeletal and orthopaedic physiotherapy.
Our approach combines hands-on treatment with progressive exercise and rehabilitation. We value taking the time to understand what is driving a patient's presentation, providing high-quality treatment and helping patients build the strength and confidence to return to the things that matter to them.
Depending on your interests and experience, your caseload may include:
- Musculoskeletal and orthopaedic physiotherapy
- Clinical Pilates and individualised rehabilitation
- Small-group Clinical Rehab classes
- WorkCover and return-to-work rehabilitation
- Functional Capacity Assessments
- GLAD hip and knee programs
- Dry needling
- Sports and general injury rehabilitation
What we offer
At The Junction Village Physiotherapy, you will have the opportunity to work within an established clinic while developing a caseload around your own clinical interests.
- An established private-practice client base
- A varied and interesting MSK caseload
- One-on-one appointments with time to assess and treat patients thoroughly
- A dedicated and modern rehabilitation and Clinical Pilates environment
- Opportunities to teach Clinical Rehab/Pilates classes
- Exposure to Functional Capacity Assessments and occupational rehabilitation
- The opportunity to deliver the GLAD hip and knee program
- Support for ongoing professional development
- A friendly, experienced and supportive team
- Flexibility around working hours for the right candidate
- Lifestyle-friendly location by the beach
We are particularly interested in finding someone who wants to become a valued part of the clinic rather than simply work through a high-volume appointment book.
If you are a Physiotherapist who enjoys combining hands-on treatment, strong clinical reasoning and progressive rehabilitation, we would love to hear from you.
Please apply with your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your private practice experience, clinical interests and what you are looking for in your next role.
