Médicos En Casa, PPLC is a growing primary care clinic seeking a Medical Director to lead clinical oversight and help guide the clinic’s long-term growth. This physician will work closely with leadership on quality of care, clinical operations, and the development of our provider team. The role also includes participation in our internal leadership board.

Location: Brownsville, Texas
Position: Long-term, permanent

Qualifications

-Active, unrestricted Texas medical license.
-Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
-Strong primary care experience.
-Experience with clinical oversight, advanced practice provider supervision, or practice leadership preferred.
-Interest in a lasting leadership role with meaningful involvement in the clinic.
-Compensation

Competitive base salary with a potential ownership opportunity in the management entity. The final compensation and leadership arrangement will be discussed with qualified candidates and set out in written agreements.

Responsibilities

-Provide clinical leadership and oversight for primary care services.
-Support quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical policy development.
-Supervise and collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants as appropriate under Texas law.
-Help develop efficient clinical workflows and support the clinic’s growth.
-Participate in leadership meetings and long-term planning.

Preferred but not required:

Fluency in both English and Spanish

Location preference: Physicians based in the southern half of Texas are preferred, but qualified physicians from anywhere in Texas are welcome to apply.
