Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pelvic Health and Orthopedic Physical Therapist, where your expertise will empower patients to regain function, reduce discomfort, and improve their quality of life. In this vital role, you will deliver specialized pelvic health as well as orthopedic assessments and treatments, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and develop personalized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient. Your dedication will help foster a supportive environment focused on patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
Duties:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient needs and develop targeted treatment plans.
Implement evidence-based physiotherapy techniques to facilitate recovery.
Educate patients on physiology, anatomy, and self-management strategies to promote long-term wellness.
Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals such as physicians, urologists, gynecologists, orthopedics, neurologists and your staff colleagues to coordinate care.
Manage clinical documentation adhering to standards for electronic health records (EHR) and medical terminology accuracy.
Assist in discharge planning by preparing patients for home & community care or outpatient rehabilitation settings.
Engage in patient communication to motivate adherence, answer questions, and provide ongoing support throughout treatment.
Requirements
Valid licensure as a licensed Physical Therapist in Illinois.
Experience (or willingness to learn) in outpatient clinic settings with a focus on pelvic health or related fields such as orthopedics.
New Grads with a willingness to do both orthopedic and pelvic floor are encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and clinical documentation standards.
Demonstrated ability to develop treatment plans tailored to diverse populations including geriatric and pediatric patients.
Experience working preferred but not required. We are open to new grads.
Familiarity with outpatient rehabilitation center practices and electronic health records (EHR) management systems such as EMR systems.
Strong client communication skills with an emphasis on patient education and engagement.
Ability to perform discharge planning and coordinate care across multiple healthcare disciplines.
