South West Kids Clinic has a full time position (part time also considered for the right applicant) available within our REHAB team working with children with mild to complex physical disabilities.
When you join South West Kids Clinic, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team of paediatric Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists and Dieticians that work together to achieve our purpose: to help children get the best start to a fulfilled life.
Within this role, you will be supporting children with physical disabilities and complex medical needs to reach their functional goals. Some of the interventions you will be providing include DMI, splinting/casting, Pediasuit, hydrotherapy & intensives. Whilst experience and training in these areas are preferred, applicants with less experience will be provided with the support and training to feel confident in implementing these treatment techniques. This will be through our ecosystem of in house training, expert mentoring by leading Physiotherapists as well as an unlimited budget for professional development.
From day one, you will be supported to learn and grow as a therapist using the SWKC Support Framework which includes:
Weekly/fortnightly clinical supervision
Wellbeing coaching sessions
Group case discussions
External group professional development sessions
Unlimited CPD budget for approved courses
As you progress within your role you will work alongside the Director to create a career pathway based on the vision you have for your career. Together you will create a plan to grow your skills to achieve your goals.

Permanent rights to work in Australia

Drivers License
