Full time cornea / anterior segment/ comprehensive ophthalmology.  SoCal Eye is a well established (1964) group with 2 offices in Southern California close to the Pacific.  6 MDs, 4 ODs, Medicare approved ASC, laser center (refractive/ LALs/ Glaucoma), clinical trials, 2 opticals and full support staff.  Check out our website: SoCalEye.com.  We are very sad to be losing our fabulous corneal specialist because of personal reasons and need a replacement.  Employee first and if everyone is happy on to a partnership track (we have never not offered partnership).  Ownership includes the ASC.  Our group is VERY unique.  We like to call it a lifestyle practice.  Partners work up to 15 weeks of vacation per year so this a career that allows enjoyment of life and time with your family.  We all make a very good living in the perfect Southern California climate with quality of life as a priority.  All the money goes in the pot and everyone shares equally.  Very friendly, no intra-practice competition and a wonderful place to work; we will be your other family.  Our current partners have been together for years; 45, 36, 28, 20, and 12.  Our glaucoma specialist joined this year.  We have many employees that have been with us for over 20 years; this is a good place to land.  Anyway, back to the facts; no formal call or ER coverage, usually at least one full day of surgery per week, plenty of cornea with comprehensive as well, 9-5ish work hours (basically M-F), scribes, EMR, plenty of support from the staff (they work up, room, prepare the chart, scribe and finish with the patient).  That’s the gist.
