Description
Providence is seeking a Palliative Care nurse practitioner to join a growing program serving patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. This is a unique opportunity to help shape and expand a developing service line while receiving exceptional support, mentorship and training from an established palliative care team.
The role offers a balanced practice focused on symptom management in the outpatient setting and goals-of-care and end-of-life discussions in the hospital. Providence is committed to developing the right candidate and provides a structured training experience.
Position Details:
Full-time position
Blend of inpatient and outpatient care
Approximately 2 days clinic and 3 days hospital each week
Monday to Friday schedule with flexibility
No call requirements
Structured onboarding and ramp-up plan with mentorship from an experienced Palliative Care team and medical director
Opportunity to help build and shape a growing program
Dedicated hospital social work support
Strong collaborative relationship with community hospice partners
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation is between $136,856 and $169,403 per year

The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Hospice and Palliative Care certification required within 3 years
