Description
ABOUT ROYAL COLUMBIAN HOSPITAL
Royal Columbian Hospital is one of British Columbia's busiest hospitals and serves as a leading referral centre for patients across Fraser Health and the province. Located in New Westminster, it provides specialized care in cardiac services, trauma, neurosciences, high-risk maternity, neonatal intensive care, and mental health. Royal Columbian is the only hospital in British Columbia that brings all of these specialized services together on a single site, caring for some of the province's most critically ill and injured patients.
Today, Royal Columbian Hospital is evolving to meet the growing and changing needs of the communities it serves. The hospital's redevelopment is transforming the campus through a series of major projects designed to expand capacity, enhance access to specialized care, and support the delivery of innovative, patient-centred healthcare. The new Jim Pattison Acute Care Tower marks a significant milestone in this transformation, helping usher in a new era of care for patients and families across the region.
