OUCU Financial is seeking an experienced Manager of Commercial Lending to lead our commercial lending operations and drive portfolio growth.

The Manager of Commercial Lending will oversee commercial loan origination, underwriting, portfolio management, and business development, while building strong relationships with business members and community partners.

The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with deep commercial lending experience and a passion for helping businesses succeed across multiple markets.

The pay range for this position starts at $69,960 annually with relevant education and experience considered in determining the starting pay rate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the commercial lending team in achieving portfolio growth, profitability, and credit quality goals.
• Develop and execute strategies to expand commercial lending opportunities within the credit union’s market footprint. This includes both the Athens and Lancaster markets.
• Oversee the origination, underwriting, and structuring of commercial loans, including real estate, operating lines of credit, equipment financing, and other business credit products.
• Makes lending decisions within established limits. Reviews requests for credit union participation loans and makes recommendations.
• Responsible for full compliance of member business lending as dictated by federal and state regulations. Maintains up to date knowledge of member business policies, rules, and regulations and acts in compliance with loan policy at all times.

Requirements

• Management responsibilities include managing, training, and coaching the staff of the Member Business Department, as well as directing the department’s daily operations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
• Five years experience in commercial lending and/or other areas within a financial institution. Credit union experience preferred. Knowledge of laws and regulations governing business and consumer lending practices.
• On-site position based in Athens with frequent travel to Lancaster and Logan areas.
