Description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Liaise with various business units to handle Liquidity Management Monitoring function to ensure the compliance with internal and external guidelines;
2. Prepare regular MIS reports for ALCO and other Senior Management Committees;
3. Work with the Treasurer on providing strategic analysis to support ongoing funding and investment decisions;
4. Assist in formulating, maintaining and executing a sound fund transfer pricing (FTP) mechanism;
5. Provide secretarial support for ALCO meeting, including but not limited to meeting arrangement, preparation of meeting agenda, materials and minutes;
6. Assist in conducting periodical review of ALM policies and strategies for assets and liabilities management ;
7. Support ad hoc ALM assignment by senior management or Head Office;

Job Requirements:

1. Degree holder or above in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or related disciplines;
2. Professional qualification in FRM or CFA or CPA would be an advantage
3. At least 3 years of relevant experience in asset and liability management, fund transfer pricing or similar functions with financial institutions;
4. Possessing Treasury Risk and Liquidity Risk management experience would be an advantage;
5. Familiar with banking products, operations and able to handle the HKMA's relevant SPM requirements
6. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
7. Ability to work independently and under pressure
8. Proficient in MS Office applications, e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint
9. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
