Junior Business Analyst, befristet für 6 Monate

We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst to join our European Business Change team based in Frankfurt. This role is ideal for someone early in their Business Analysis career who is keen to develop their skills through hands-on, on-the-job learning, while supporting change initiatives within the German insurance domain.

Working closely with experienced Business Analysts, Project Managers and delivery teams, you will support the analysis and delivery of change by helping to document processes, support stakeholder engagement, and maintain high-quality project documentation. You will gain exposure to core Business Analysis techniques, regulatory-driven change and cross-border stakeholder collaboration.

On-the-Job Learning & Business Analysis Support

• Learn and apply core Business Analysis techniques while working alongside senior Business Analysts.

• Support the clarification and documentation of business needs, requirements and scope.

• Assist in analysing business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement under guidance.

Process Mapping

• Support the creation and maintenance of end-to-end process maps (e.g. as-is and to-be processes).

• Help document workflows, process changes and impacts to support project delivery and business readiness.

• Ensure processes are clearly documented and accessible for both business and delivery teams.

Stakeholder Communication (English & German)

• Support effective communication with stakeholders in both English and German, across business and project teams.

• Assist with preparing materials for workshops, meetings and stakeholder discussions.

• Capture and clearly document stakeholder inputs, questions and decisions.

Project & Delivery Support

• Provide day-to-day support to projects by maintaining key documentation such as:

• • Requirements and analysis artefacts
  • Process documentation
  • Risks, issues and actions

• Take accurate and concise meeting notes, tracking actions and decisions to support delivery momentum.

Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Ensure documentation is clear, accurate and well-structured.

• Continuously build knowledge of the German insurance landscape, products and regulatory environment.

• Actively seek feedback and learning opportunities to develop Business Analysis capability.

• German insurance experience.
• Fluency in German and English, with confidence communicating in both written and spoken formats.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to structure information clearly.
• An interest in Business Analysis, process improvement and change delivery.
• Confidence working with stakeholders and supporting collaborative discussions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-based environment.

Desirable

• Previous experience in a junior BA, project support, PMO or similar role.
• Previous experience in a German Customer Service function.
• Exposure to regulatory or change-driven projects.
• Experience working in an international or multi-country team.
