Do you enjoy analysing information and providing excellent customer experience? We have an existing opportunity for the right candidate to join permanent role as Indemnity Adviser in our Professional Indemnity Insurance (PII) team within Client Protection Department.
The role
As an Indemnity Adviser, you will:
review requests to disclose insurer details and will gather evidence, liaise with stakeholders and make rule-based decisions.
track, monitor and support firms which have not renewed their professional indemnity insurance
manage the quarterly information exchange and engage directly with regulated firms to ensure all firms are properly insured
assist colleagues across the organisation who have queries about professional indemnity insurance.
You will be proactive in nature and you will have excellent, planning and prioritisation skills, to work in a constantly changing environment.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience of working with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. You will enjoy a varied and interesting role where you will work closely and collaboratively with other members of the team.

- Work collaboratively with other areas of our organisation such as the Legal and Enforcement, Authorisation, Intelligence and Forensic Investigation teams.
- Enjoy a varied role: your workload and responsibilities will vary across the different work streams the team carries out.
- Gain experience of relationship management by working closely with insurers
What we are looking for
- Relevant qualification and/or significant practical experience of interpreting and applying rules
- Experience of dealing with queries from the general public (phone and in writing), demonstrating excellent customer focus
- Track record of delivering results by taking ownership of issues and ensuring successful resolution within set timescales
- Experience of managing stakeholders to get accurate information from them
- Pro-active and makes decisions
- Excellent organising, planning and prioritisation skills

This is a hybrid role and will be based in our Birmingham office 1 to 2 days a week, and from home the rest of the week.
