Head of M&A (Healthcare) About the Role

We are partnering with a leading investment platform to appoint an experienced Corporate Development / M&A professional to drive inorganic growth initiatives across the healthcare sector, with a particular focus on Asia.

This role will lead the evaluation and execution of acquisitions, strategic investments, joint ventures and partnerships, while working closely with senior leadership to identify new growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities

1. Lead end-to-end execution of acquisitions, strategic investments, joint ventures and divestments.
2. Evaluate investment opportunities and develop business cases for senior management.
3. Conduct financial analysis, valuation, commercial due diligence and transaction structuring.
4. Lead negotiations and coordinate internal and external stakeholders through transaction completion.
5. Identify and assess healthcare investment opportunities across Southeast Asia, particularly Indonesia.
6. Support post-acquisition integration and strategic value creation initiatives.

Requirements

1. Min 10-15 years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity or Transaction Advisory.
2. Proven track record leading end-to-end M&A transactions.
3. Meaningful exposure to the healthcare sector through corporate development, investing or advisory work.
4. Strong financial modelling, valuation and commercial due diligence skills.
5. Experience working across Southeast Asia is highly preferred.
6. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Background

1. Corporate Development within a healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical device or healthcare services company.
2. Healthcare-focused private equity, venture capital or investment platform.
3. Investment banking experience covering healthcare transactions.
