GolfTRK Albuquerque | General Manager (PGA Professional Preferred)

Full-Time | Reports to Ownership | Base Salary $45,000 to $65,000 DOE

GolfTRK Albuquerque is a new indoor golf performance facility featuring four TrackMan simulator bays, PuttView short game training technology, a dedicated club fitting area, and member lounge space. We are a membership-driven, instruction-focused concept, not an entertainment-only simulator venue.

The General Manager is the face of the facility and the leader of the local golf community. This person owns day-to-day operations, membership growth, instruction and player development, event programming, and the overall member experience.

This is a build-it role. The GM will be involved from pre-opening through launch and will have direct influence over programming, instruction offerings, junior development, league structure, and community partnerships. The right candidate treats the facility like their own business and wants a platform where teaching, fitting, and event income are uncapped.

We are looking for an energetic, relationship-driven professional who genuinely enjoys people, embraces technology, and understands that members join for the technology but stay for the experience.

Experience Required

Required

• 3+ years of leadership experience in golf, hospitality, retail, fitness, or a related customer-facing operation
• Proven sales and customer service track record, including membership, package, or recurring revenue sales
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and grow a local customer community
• Strong organizational, budgeting, and problem-solving skills
• Comfort with technology and willingness to become proficient on TrackMan and PuttView
• Availability to work evenings and weekends as facility demand requires
• Genuine passion for golf and for helping golfers improve

Preferred

• PGA Member or PGA Associate in good standing
• Prior experience managing a golf facility, indoor golf center, private club, or off-course golf operation
• Active teaching experience with a track record of student development
• Club fitting experience, particularly with launch monitor technology
• Experience running leagues, tournaments, junior programs, or corporate events
• Existing relationships within the New Mexico golf community

Essential Responsibilities

Facility Leadership and Operations

• Manage all day-to-day facility operations and maintain GolfTRK operating standards
• Hire, train, schedule, coach, and develop facility staff
• Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming environment at all times
• Manage simulator uptime, technology performance, and vendor coordination
• Oversee opening and closing procedures, inventory, and point-of-sale accuracy

Membership Sales and Revenue Growth

• Conduct facility tours and membership consultations
• Convert leads into memberships and recurring revenue
• Execute local marketing initiatives, grassroots outreach, and community events
• Build relationships with local golfers, businesses, schools, and golf organizations
• Develop partnerships with area courses, clubs, PGA professionals, and junior golf groups
• Drive membership acquisition and retention against monthly targets

Golf Instruction and Player Development (for qualified candidates)

• Deliver private and group instruction using TrackMan and PuttView
• Conduct swing evaluations and build customized improvement plans
• Help members interpret and act on performance data
• Lead junior golf development, adult clinics, and corporate instruction programming
• Perform club fittings and support equipment sales

Candidates without teaching credentials will be responsible for recruiting, scheduling, and managing contract instructors and will not participate in the lesson revenue share.

Member Experience and Community

• Deliver hospitality-level service to every member and guest
• Create an engaging, family-friendly atmosphere for all ages and skill levels
• Program and run leagues, tournaments, clinics, and member events
• Resolve member concerns promptly and professionally

Business Performance

• Manage facility budget, labor cost, and operating expenses
• Track membership growth, retention, utilization, and revenue metrics
• Review and report weekly and monthly performance to ownership
• Execute strategies to hit revenue and profitability goals
• Ensure franchise compliance and brand standard adherence
