Experience Required
- Multi-property or multi-facility management experience
- Experience managing high-volume wedding or event venues
- Background in semi-private club or public golf operations
- Demonstrated success improving operational performance and revenue growth
Essential Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete financial management and strategic planning of all operations, including golf, banquets, food and beverage, agronomy, and administration, with full responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, and profit and loss performance.
- Prepare and review ongoing operational and financial reports to monitor facility performance, including daily business recaps, monthly business reports, golf statistics, and other key performance metrics.
- Provide consistent, visible leadership across all departments, fostering collaboration, accountability, and operational alignment.
- Establish service goals and operational objectives that align with Executive Team priorities, with a strong focus on member satisfaction, guest experience, and service excellence.
- Oversee membership growth, marketing initiatives, and community engagement strategies that strengthen the club's brand and market presence.
- Develop, implement, and monitor all sales and marketing plans to drive revenue growth across golf, events, and hospitality operations.
- Ensure exceptional guest and member experiences through effective staff training, communication, and performance management.
- Implement and maintain operating procedures that uphold the highest standards of safety, service, quality, and operational consistency.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop department heads and key team members to support strong leadership and succession planning.
- Supervise all department heads and ensure professional standards, accountability, and performance expectations are consistently met.
- Promote a culture of professionalism, teamwork, accountability, and strong employee relations through open communication, coaching, and an open-door leadership approach.
- Ensure purchasing procedures are accurate, compliant, and aligned with company policies across all departments.
- Partner with the Executive Team to develop and execute annual business strategies, including financial planning, operational goals, and marketing initiatives.
- Maintain consistent communication with the Executive Team regarding daily operations, business performance, and long-term strategic planning.
- Lead all personnel functions across the facility, including hiring, employee evaluations, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Apply fair and consistent progressive discipline, coaching, and counseling practices in accordance with company policy.
- Conduct daily facility walk-throughs and inspections to ensure all buildings, grounds, and operations meet established quality and presentation standards.
- Communicate operational deficiencies in writing to department heads and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Approve final hiring decisions and employee separations in coordination with company leadership. Perform additional duties and provide operational leadership as directed by the Executive Team.
