Financial Crime Investigators | Large-Scale Remediation

• Role Type: 6 Month Contract (until March 2027)
• Pay Rate: $450 + Super per day
• Location: Sydney CBD (Hybrid - 2 days in office / 3 days WFH)
• Start Date: ASAP

About the Role :
Join a high-performing remediation team at a leading global bank. Working across Transaction Monitoring, Fraud, AML, Compliance, and High-Risk Clients, you will execute end-to-end investigations and create comprehensive reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct complex financial crime and transaction monitoring investigations.
• Assess risk levels across all aspects of financial crime.
• Draft, finalise, and submit high-quality Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs).
• Collate findings into clear, audit-ready written investigation reports.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in financial crime investigations within banking or financial services.
• Direct experience creating and/or submitting SMRs (highly regarded).
• Exceptional written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to hit the ground running in a collaborative, busy project environment.
