Our client is a well-established Queensland business located on Brisbane's Northside, recognised for delivering exceptional service and maintaining strong relationships with customers across the region. Due to continued growth, an opportunity has become available for a motivated Finance Officer to join their collaborative and supportive finance team on a permanent full-time basis. Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Your responsibilities will include managing customer collections, performing account and bank reconciliations, allocating payments, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and assisting with month-end reporting activities. You will work closely with both internal stakeholders and external customers to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions while supporting the broader finance function.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:

• Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or Finance Officer position
• Strong reconciliation and collections experience
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to support the wider finance team
