About the Opportunity
Our client, a fast-growing AI-driven investment research firm, is seeking a Healthcare/Biotech Equity Research Analyst to join its global research team.

The firm builds next-generation AI infrastructure and autonomous agent workflows for fundamental equity research, serving dozens of institutional investors across the US, Hong Kong, and Singapore. In this seat, you will conduct institutional-grade fundamental research while directly collaborating with product and engineering teams to shape proprietary research automation tools for global markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct independent, deep-dive research across global healthcare and biotech equities, publishing thematic and stock-specific reports.
2. Build and maintain comprehensive company and industry valuation models.
3. Partner directly with machine learning and engineering teams to design and refine AI-driven equity research tools.
4. Develop and maintain proprietary healthcare datasets covering clinical trials, regulatory pipelines, and company fundamentals.
5. Engage directly with senior portfolio managers and research clients across global markets to communicate investment views.

Requirements

1. 2-6 years of healthcare or biotech research experience at a buy-side fund, sell-side broker, or consulting firm.
2. Strong financial modeling and valuation skillset, with familiarity leveraging modern productivity and data tools.
3. Clear understanding of clinical pipelines, drug development, and interest in how computational methods and AI are impacting life sciences.
4. Fluent business English, with proven ability to write buy-side quality reports and present views clearly to institutional clients.
5. Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
6. High intellectual curiosity, detail-oriented work ethic, and an entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving.
7. An active personal investment track record in public markets is an advantage.
