Description
Role and Responsibilities
1. Research & Analysis
Study financial statements, industry reports, and macroeconomic data
Evaluate company performance, competitive positioning, and growth prospects
Monitor market trends and sector developments
2. Financial Modelling
Build and maintain detailed financial models to forecast earnings and valuations
Use quantitative and qualitative techniques to assess securities
3. Investment Recommendations
Provide buy/sell/hold recommendations on equities
Prepare reports and presentations for clients, fund managers, or internal teams
4. Portfolio Support
Assist in constructing and managing equity portfolios
Track performance of recommended stocks and adjust strategies accordingly
5. Communication
Present findings to stakeholders in clear, concise reports
Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and other analysts
Comply with and promote adherence to the organization’s Information Security Policy and related procedures, ensuring all activities align with regulatory requirements

Quick thinking and problem-solving skills

Ability to Interact with issuers and rating agencies diligently
Excellent communication skills and active listening skills
Subject matter expertise in mid and small cap companies within multiple sectors
Analytical skills and process compliance
Requirements
Qualification & Experience
CA/ MBA from a Tier I institutes with 3 to 7 years of experience with minimum 3 plus years of relevant work experience as an equity analyst
CFA is an added advantage
Preferred from PMS/AIF/Mutual fund background
