Description
The Dedham-Westwood Water District is seeking a Distribution Superintendent to oversee and manage daily operations and development of the distribution system. The position is responsible for managing all distribution-related system operations, including supervising department staff, short- and long-range infrastructure planning, and leveraging technology to improve efficiency.
Applicants must hold a Grade 3 Distribution Operators License as required by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The position directly reports to the District’s Operations Manager.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in the Engineering, Construction Management, or other relative field of study, plus 3-5 years’ experience in the direct supervision of water distribution operations; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Current Massachusetts Grade 3 Distribution Operators License as issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Current Massachusetts driver’s license
