Director of Business & Housing Development

This position leads the Bureau of Business and Housing Development, overseeing program administration, policy development, resource allocation, and staff supervision.

It directs housing, property, and neighborhood development initiatives and serves as a liaison with community groups, developers, and partner organizations under the Commissioner of NBD. 

The incumbent manages bureau operations and staff; guides housing and property programs; develops and implements initiatives aligned with City goals; engages community groups and resolves issues; oversees budgeting and contract negotiations; supports the City’s Consolidated Plan and Capital Improvement Program; coordinates special projects as assigned.
