Description
SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Development & Construction, the Development Manager is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of affordable and public housing development initiatives, from acquisition and negotiation through predevelopment, financing, and construction coordination. This position oversees project feasibility, budgeting, and financial structuring while ensuring developments align with agency goals, regulatory requirements, and funding constraints. The Development Manager serves as a primary point of coordination among internal stakeholders, architects, general contractors, lenders, and public partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable federal, state and local standards.
Education, Training and Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of five (5) years of directly related experience; Minimum two (2) years of experience supervising staff. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
