This Position will be hired as a Commercial Relationship Manager level II, III or Senior depending on experience.
Job Summary:
The Commercial Relationship Manager II (CRM II) in Omaha will originate and service commercial banking relationships of mild to moderate complexity, typically loan relationships that are between $7,000,000 to $20,000,000, with an overall loan portfolio of less than $125,000,000. The CRM II will also assist the Sr. Commercial Relationship Managers in managing and servicing their more complex customer base.
The Commercial Relationship Manager III (CRM III) in Omaha will originate and service commercial banking relationships of moderate complexity, typically loan relationships that are between $10,000,000 to $30,000,000, with an overall loan portfolio of less than $200,000,000. The CRM III will also provide guidance and informal coaching to more junior commercial relationship managers.
The Sr. Commercial Relationship Manager (Sr. CRM) will originate and service Commercial (C&I) relationships of substantial complexity in the Omaha market, typically loan relationships in excess of $20,000,000, with overall loan portfolio in excess of $200,000,000. The Sr. Commercial Relationship Manager will also provide situational guidance and informal coaching to more junior commercial relationship managers.
Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:
Portfolio Management: Manages an individual commercial loan portfolio that is typically less than $200MM. Portfolio management duties include:Maintaining accurate and updated borrower and guarantor financial records as requiredAssuring loan covenants are addressed and/or measured in the required time frameEscalating elevated risk situations promptly and in accordance with documented policies and proceduresProviding exemplary service to all clients servedNew Business Development: Proactively develops new business by:Calling on existing clients, prospects, and centers of influence in an effort to grow loan portfolio and targeted customer baseSeeking and referring new business opportunities to the bank's Consumer and Wealth Management DivisionsBank & Professional Development: Pursues bank and professional development opportunities by engaging in the following:Continuing to develop a technical skill set by enrolling in internal and external commercial banking courseworkAttending joint calls with more senior commercial lenders and managers to further evolve interpersonal and relationship building skillsBuilding productive relationships with associated commercial support team (i.e., Commercial Credit, Operations, Legal, etc.)Maintains compliance with external regulations and internal commercial loan policies & guidelines and completes all required regulatory training as assigned and by the prescribed due date(s)Performs other duties and projects as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
CRM IICollege degree in related field preferredAt least four years of direct Commercial Banking experience requiredPrevious exposure to commercial lending, including customer and prospect calling is requiredCRM IIICollege degree in related field preferredAt least six years of Commercial Banking experience requiredPrevious exposure to commercial lending, including customer and prospect calling is requiredSr. CRMCollege degree in Business related field preferredAt least ten years of Commercial Banking experience requiredMust show a consistent history of being able to self-source loan opportunities and other new business.
