Manage complex Financial Lines claims across PI, Cyber & Management Liability Your new companyAn established and respected insurance brokerage is seeking a Financial Lines Claims Specialist to join their growing team. Supporting a portfolio of Professional Indemnity, Management Liability, Cyber and other Claims Made products, you will manage claims from lodgement through to resolution while providing exceptional service to clients and maintaining strong insurer relationships. The role supports a significant business portfolio and offers the opportunity to develop specialist expertise within one of the most technical areas of the insurance industry.
Your new role
As a Financial Lines Claims Specialist, you will manage a portfolio of Financial Lines claims and act as a key point of contact for clients, insurers and internal stakeholders throughout the claims' life cycle. You will ensure claims are progressed efficiently, maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to clients and account managers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing Professional Indemnity, Management Liability, Cyber and other Claims Made insurance claims.
- Lodging new claims and ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Liaising with clients, insurers, account managers, TPA and panel solicitors.
- Monitoring claim progress and maintaining detailed claim notes and diaries.
- Providing regular updates and guidance to clients throughout the claims process.
- Identifying and escalating potential issues, including professional indemnity concerns.
- Supporting process improvements and contributing to team success.
To be successful, you'll demonstrate a strong understanding of Financial Lines insurance and enjoy working in a client-focused environment.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience managing Financial Lines claims.
- Knowledge of Professional Indemnity, Management Liability, Cyber or Claims Made products.
- Understanding of indemnity assessment and claims decision-making processes.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously.
