POSITION SUMMARY
Drop-In Center: Responsible for fostering a safe, motivating, and supportive environment in the context of the Drop-In Center. Provides peer-oriented individual and group supports, recreational and leisure activities, and opportunities for socialization and building natural supports for persons with mental illness and/or co-occurring disorders. Works with team members to implement programming based on participant-driven needs and ideas. Encourages and models the
philosophy of recovery and empowerment through CRSS (Certified Recovery Support Specialist) principals
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED. CRSS (Certified Recovery Support Specialist) credential.
- Experience working with persons with psychosocial rehabilitation services, psychiatric disorders, substance
abuse, and/or development disorders preferred. - Flexibility to work on weekends, evenings, holidays in accordance with drop-in center schedule.
