Position Overview

Kissing Tree Golf Club is seeking a motivated, service-oriented Assistant Golf Professional to join our golf operations team. This individual will play a key role in delivering an exceptional golf experience to residents and guests while supporting daily operations, instruction, merchandising, and tournament administration.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding member and guest service in all areas of golf operations
• Assist with daily operations of the golf shop, including tee time management and point-of-sale systems
• Support tournament and event administration, including planning, scoring, and on-course supervision
• Provide golf instruction to individuals and groups, including clinics, junior programs, and practice sessions
• Assist with merchandise sales, inventory control, and visual merchandising
• Enforce club policies, pace-of-play standards, and golf etiquette
• Coordinate with the golf course maintenance team to ensure optimal playing conditions
• Support staff training and supervision as needed

Qualifications & Skills

• PGA Associate or Class A PGA Professional (or actively pursuing PGA Professional status)
• Previous experience in golf operations, instruction, or tournament management preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Proficiency with golf shop POS systems and tournament software
• Passion for teaching the game of golf and growing the game at all levels

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry golf equipment and merchandise up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions
