The Role

ASSO/AVP, Valuation Control, Financial Management

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for valuation control tasks for BOCI group, including managing the valuation method and process for calculation;
• Assist in formulating valuation control and other relevant policies for BOCI group;
• Handle hedge accounting booking;
• Closely communicate with Business and Risk Management Department on various management requirement;
• Prepare for Head Office reports related to valuation, financial products and hedge accounting;
• Other tasks assigned by supervisors.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree majoring in Accounting, Finance or related field, or education above;
• CPA/CFA/FRM qualification;
• Minimum 2 years of valuation control or product control experience in Investment Bank or financial institutions;
• Candidates with full time working experience in Hong Kong or overseas is considered as an advantage;
• Strong business analysis skills;
• Details oriented and good communication skills;
• Proficient in Sophis and VBA.
