Hunters Ridge Golf & Country Club, a private 18-hole golf facility in beautiful Bonita Springs, Florida, is seeking a motivated and service-oriented Assistant Golf Professional to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop professionally while working alongside the Director of Golf and 1st Assistant Golf Professional in a high-quality private club environment.

The Assistant Golf Professional will play an integral role in the daily operation of the golf shop while taking a primary role in tournament and event administration. This individual will assist with planning, organizing, and executing a full calendar of member tournaments, leagues, and special events while delivering exceptional member service both on and off the golf course.

This position is ideal for an individual pursuing a long-term career in the golf industry who is eager to gain hands-on experience in tournament operations, merchandising, member relations, golf instruction, and daily golf operations. Experience Required

• Previous experience as an Assistant Golf Professional or in a similar role at a private, public, or resort golf facility preferred.
• Proven experience administering tournaments using Golf Genius Tournament Management software is required. Candidates should be comfortable creating events, setting up pairings, managing live scoring, processing results, and communicating tournament information to participants.
• Experience organizing and executing member tournaments, leagues, and special golf events.
• Strong knowledge of the Rules of Golf and tournament operations.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with members and guests.
• Experience with golf shop point-of-sale systems and tee sheet management is preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings during the golf season.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and conducting a full schedule of member tournaments and golf events.
• Manage tournament software, scoring, pairings, results, and event setup.
• Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests.
• Assist with daily golf shop operations, including merchandising, tee sheet management, and point-of-sale transactions.
• Coordinate with other club departments to ensure successful execution of golf events.
• Support outside golf operations as needed.
• Assist with golf instruction, clinics, and player development programs.
• Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the standards of a premier private club.
