Kensington is searching for an Assistant Golf Professional to support the Director of Golf and Professional Team in the management of daily operations while serving its Members & their Guests with an exceptional experience & outstanding service.

The private, member-owned and financially stable Club is conveniently located in the heart of Naples, FL. The centerpiece of our Club is the beautifully maintained Robert Trent Jones, Jr. golf course where we are always tournament ready. The Golf Shop and Clubhouse has been restored as of Fall 2025 and the golf course has been fully restored as of November 2021. KGCC registers upwards of 37,000 rounds each year and have hosted several FSGA and USGA golf events on our par 71 layout. Please visit Kensingtoncc.com for more details.

The next candidate must have the ability to provide a high level of personalized service to all Members and their Guests. Duties include assisting in coordinating all golf events, providing golf instruction and assisting with daily Golf Shop operations. The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, motivated and possess an excitement for the golf business. There will be ample opportunity to teach private lessons and group clinics as well as play golf with the Kensington members.

Experience Required

• PGA/LPGA member or PGA Associate (Level 2)
• 3+ years of high-end, private country club experience
• Bachelor degree preferred but not required
• High proficiency with Golf Genius
• Demonstrate competent playing ability
• Must bring positive energy on a daily basis
• Must have excellent communication, computer and customer service skills

Essential Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service in a friendly, welcoming enviroment to all Members, their Guests & the KGCC Team.
• Assist Professional Team in all aspects of the golf operations.
• Work harmoniously with all members and staff -- this includes both the golf staff and the staff from other departments.
• Support and guide outside services team to ensure consistent service delivery daily.
• Accurately manage the North Star tee time system.
• Assist in coordinating all Member & Guest golf events including planning, preperation, scoring, announcements & billing.
• Maintains USGA GHIN handicapping records.
• Assist Director of Retail with merchandising activities and inventory control.
• Maintain high level organization skills & cleanliness within the golf shop operations.
• Play golf with members.
• Monitor pace of play when necessary.
• Enforce Club rules and regulations per Club Policies.
• Must have a complete understanding of Kensington's Mission Statement and Core Values.
