Job Description

As an AML Analyst, your main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough due diligence on clients to ensure compliance with AML regulations.
• Monitoring and reviewing transactions to identify potential suspicious activities.
• Preparing and submitting reports on AML compliance as required by regulatory authorities.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of AML policies and procedures.
• Providing guidance and training to team members on AML regulations and processes.
• Staying up-to-date with changes in local and international AML regulations.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve compliance-related issues.
• Supporting periodic audits and risk assessments related to AML compliance.

The Successful Applicant

The successful AML Analyst must have a few years of prior related work experience handling AML work in a law firm. Experience working in the compliance team of a law firm is essential, as this role will work quite independently in the Hong Kong office, with a reporting line to the UK. Strong communication skills in English and Chinese is preferred.
