Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologists (2 Positions)
Mount Sinai Medical Center – Miami Beach, Florida
Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach is growing its cardiovascular program, and Advanced Heart Failure is at the center of that growth. Mount Sinai Medical Center is committed to recruiting two board-certified/board-eligible Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologists to join our full-time academic faculty:
Director of Advanced Heart Failure (Senior): 3+ years of practice experience and a drive to build and lead a comprehensive program.
Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist (Junior): 0–2 years of experience, ready to grow alongside a program on the rise.
The Director will design and lead the following programs, working closely with Electrophysiology, Cardiac Surgery, Interventional Cardiology, and Cardiac Imaging:
Cardiomyopathy (HFrEF) Clinic
HFpEF Clinic
Amyloid Clinic
Remote Monitoring Program
Cardiogenic Shock Program and Acute Mechanical Circulatory Support
LVAD Program
Faculty will take part in clinical practice, research, and teaching across our locations throughout Miami-Dade County. Mount Sinai cardiologists treat the full range of cardiovascular disease, from arrhythmia and atrial fibrillation to congenital heart disease and pulmonary hypertension.

Qualifications
- Board certified/Board Eligible with additional sub-specialty fellowship training and certification in Advanced Heart Failure
- 0-3 years practice experience including caring for advanced heart failure patients
- Adaptable colleague interested in building an inpatient and outpatient practice and willing to expand heart failure practice to satellite centers
- Those with a strong interest in Heart Failure research, primarly clinical research, new devices and clinical trials are encouraged to apply
