An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Officer to join a high-performing finance team based in Surfers Paradise.

Your new role

Reporting to the Accounts Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations across multiple entities. This is a broad and evolving position with an initial focus on Accounts Payable, offering future exposure to Accounts Receivable and wider finance functions.
Key Responsibilities:

End-to-end Accounts Payable processing, including invoice entry, approvals, and payment runs

Supplier statement reconciliations and query resolution

Accurate ledger coding and GST treatment

Support Accounts Receivable functions as required

Assist with month-end close processes

Work within financial systems such as NetSuite

Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations

What you'll need to succeed

2+ years' experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role

Strong understanding of financial processes, including AP and reconciliations

Experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite, Xero, or Dynamics

High attention to detail and strong data accuracy skills

Excellent time management and communication skills

A proactive and team-focused approach
