We're delighted to have been exclusively retained on a search for an exceptional Macro Portfolio Manager to join one of the world's most respected global investment platforms.

This opportunity has arisen following an internal promotion, creating the chance for an experienced investor to step into a well-established mandate with responsibility for a sizeable CEEMEA portfolio.

This is a genuine investing role with significant discretion and the ability to deploy meaningful capital across Rates, FX and Sovereign Credit , identifying medium-term opportunities driven by macro fundamentals rather than short-term technical trading.

The role will involve:

• Managing a sizeable discretionary CEEMEA macro portfolio with direct investment responsibility.

• Developing differentiated macro views across monetary policy, politics and structural economic trends.

• Expressing those views through Rates, FX and Sovereign Credit positions.

• Working alongside a highly regarded global macro investment team while taking ownership of investment decisions and portfolio construction.

• Building relationships with policymakers, central banks, economists and market participants across the region.

We're looking for someone who:

Has experience managing or co-managing a discretionary CEEMEA macro portfolio within a hedge fund or institutional investment environment.

Has an outstanding understanding of CEEMEA macroeconomics, monetary policy and political risk.

Has a proven track record investing across Rates, with additional experience in FX and Sovereign Credit.

Has managed meaningful risk and deployed sizeable capital with disciplined portfolio construction.

Takes a genuinely fundamental approach to investing, building medium-term positions based on conviction rather than short-term technical trading.
