For more than 60 years, The Rock School for Dance Education has been recognized among the world’s leading pre-professional ballet programs. Students from across the globe train with exceptional faculty and receive individual attention in a supportive environment. Alumni dance with premier companies worldwide and perform on Broadway and London’s West End. Rock students consistently earn top honors at international competitions, and the School awards more than $1.4 million in scholarships each year.
Company History
Founded in 1963 as the School of Pennsylvania Ballet, The Rock became independent in 1992 through a gift from philanthropist Dr. Milton Rock. Today, it serves more than 1,200 students annually across two campuses under the leadership of President and Director Peter Stark.
