Camp Akiba is a traditional brother-sister overnight summer camp located in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. We provide campers with a fun, welcoming environment where they can build friendships, gain independence, try new activities, and create memories that last well beyond the summer.
Our staff are at the center of the Camp Akiba experience. We look for energetic, responsible, and caring people who enjoy working with kids, being part of a team, and getting fully involved in camp life. From our counselors to our activity specialists and support staff, everyone plays an important role in creating a safe, exciting, and memorable summer for our campers.

Company History
Camp Akiba has been creating summer memories in the Pocono Mountains since 1926. For generations, Akiba has been a summer home where campers and staff have built lifelong friendships, experienced new adventures, and become part of a strong camp community.
After a period away, Camp Akiba returned to its roots and reopened in 2025, bringing together nearly 100 years of tradition with a fresh vision for the future. Today, Akiba continues as a family-owned brother-sister overnight camp, combining the traditions that have made camp special for generations with new programs, updated facilities, and opportunities for today’s campers.
As we move into our next century, our goal remains the same: to create an unforgettable summer experience and a community that campers and staff are proud to call home.
