Position Summary

Omnicare is a leading provider of pharmacy services to long-term care facilities nationwide, supporting skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other institutional care settings. As we transition to an independent, standalone organization, we are building and strengthening internal capabilities to support our approximately 6,000 colleagues and multi-state operations.

Omnicare has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) to join our Finance organization. In this role, you will partner closely with IT leadership, finance leadership, and project stakeholders to provide financial oversight and support for the IT organization. This person is responsible for managing the IT operating and capital budgets, overseeing financial performance reporting, tracking strategic technology investments, and delivering actionable insights that help drive financial and operational results.

Primary Responsibilities

• Own the financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes for the IT organization, including operating expenses and capital investments.
• Manage the IT P&L (Profit & Loss) by analyzing monthly financial results, identifying key variances versus budget and forecast, and providing clear commentary and recommendations to leadership.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and forecasting cycles for IT expenses, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and strategic initiatives.
• Partner with IT leaders and project managers to track and monitor project spend, resource utilization, timelines, and financial performance across the technology portfolio.
• Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools to improve visibility into IT spending, project performance, and investment returns.
• Collaborate with Accounting during month-end close activities, including accrual reviews, expense validation, and analysis of variances to budget and forecast.
• Act as a trusted finance business partner to IT leadership by delivering insights, challenging assumptions, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
• Develop and maintain weekly and monthly financial reporting across IT and other business functions, providing meaningful insights to support operation and strategic decision-making.
• Independently manage ad hoc reporting and analytical requests, delivering accurate and timely results with minimal supervision.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of finance or accounting experience, specifically related to budgeting and forecasting, and a demonstrated knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
• Demonstrated computer skills, including an extensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate across many levels of the organization, including with senior management.
• Excellent analytical skills, collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Proven ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlines, as well as to manage multiple projects.
• Previous experience in healthcare, pharmacy, PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management), provider relations, or other regulated industry.
• Previous experience with Netsuite System.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree, with concentration in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $122,400.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
